Privacy Policy — WA CRM

Effective date: 1 July 2026 · Contact: wa.messenger.ext@gmail.com

Who we are

Propar operates the WA CRM browser extension and web app (“the Service”), which helps sales teams log customer relationship information while using WhatsApp Web.

What data we collect

The extension reads, only while you have a WhatsApp Web chat open, the contact name and number of that chat, so it can attach your CRM notes to the correct person. It does not read, store, or transmit the content of your WhatsApp messages. When you create CRM entries (notes, tasks, tickets, deals, tags, contact fields), that information, plus your account identity (name, email), is sent to and stored on our servers. If your administrator connects a Google Sheet, the contact records for that department are also written to that sheet.

Data categories (matching the Chrome Web Store Privacy Practices tab): personally identifiable information (names, phone numbers, email), authentication information (your login token), and user-entered activity (your CRM notes and tasks). We do not collect web browsing history, and we do not read message content.

How we use it

Solely to provide the CRM functionality: storing and displaying your team's contact records, enforcing role-based access, and (if enabled) syncing with your connected Google Sheet.

Limited Use disclosure

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information obtained through Google Sheets access is used only to provide the sync feature you turned on, is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not transferred to third parties except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers that run the Service (hosting and database) under contract, and with Google when you choose to connect a Google Sheet.

Storage & security

Data is stored in a managed Postgres database. Google refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted by your role within your organization.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing wa.messenger.ext@gmail.com. Your administrator can disconnect a Google Sheet at any time, which stops further syncing.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the effective date above.
